There are not enough words to describe the importance of corporate identity in the competitive business environment today. A corporate identity characterizes a company. Through the corporate identity, business associate, customers and clients associate with a company. It takes a lot of time and effort to create a brand image within and outside the organization. Various mediums of communication are used to create a brand among the minds of people. A corporate identity helps a company maintain that brand image.
Corporate identity package of an organization primarily consists of three components:
Corporate values: This is the inherent culture of the company. These consist of acceptable and unacceptable set of norms, ethics and values.
Corporate Communication: This is an important part of any company because it lets the outside world know about the character of the company and its people. Corporate communication happens through public and media relations and various forms of commercials.
Corporate artifacts: These are the logos brochures, pamphlets, stationery and business cards of the company.
When a company has a well designed corporate identity package, it holds multiple advantages over its competitors. Let us look at them.
Enhanced recall value: A well thought out corporate identity package makes customers recall the image of the company. For example, when we go to buy a certain product and we have to choose between a well known brand and a not so well known brand producing the same product, we almost always go for the branded item. This is simply because we trust the branded product. This simple example proves that a well designed corporate identity package creates a strong customer base for a company.
Cost saving: A strong corporate identity package helps a company reduce marketing cost to a great extent. Companies spend millions to advertise their products and services. Once a strong brand is created through a corporate identity package, then there is no need to market newer products and services. All the company needs to do is to make sure that the customer gets to know about it. In the long run, this helps reduce the cost of advertising and promotion.
Motivate and retain talent: People like to work for companies having strong corporate identities. A well established and respected corporate identity is a source of motivation to people who work for it. If the best brains and hands in the industry are enticed to work for a company then it is an obvious competitive advantage that it has over its rivals.
Makes difficult times look easy: A company with a strong corporate identity package finds it easier to encounter tough economic times. Their sales are not hampered enough to drive them out of the market. They can also introduce newer products in the market without worrying about not being acceptable.
Corporate id package is not an advertisement and it is not designed to fool people. It is a continuous process of evolution that keeps a company ahead of others.

In many ways promotional torches are not expected to do much; they are not expected to function on the same level as a much more expensive torch, nor are they expected to have the same level of durability or longevity. In short a promotional torch is really only expected to be a cute little knickknack that your company distributes as part of a larger campaign to get your name and brand out there. Well to some this may seem like a drawback in fact it is not.
While you are deciding on whether or not a promotional torch is worth your budgeting money it is important to remember that you are not purchasing these items for their functionality, but instead focus on the novelty value of the item. When you are purchasing promotional torches, for novelty, then you have just opened up a wide range of creative design options. These creative option would not be available for many of the more functional promotional items, which makes your promotional torch even more unique. A promotional torch should not be thought of as an item that can be utilized by a plumber while he is fixing your sink.. Instead you need to think of the exposure that creativity of your promotional torches will bring your company, while the recipient is shows it off to friends, family and co workers.
A promotional torch can be designed in any shape, style or color. If you are a car dealership you can design you promotional torch in the shape of a candy apple red convertible, where the headlight actually light up. This type of creativity is not available with a study and durable torch. By creatively designing your promotional torches you will also increase your chances that the torch will be keep around a lot longer, and that it will draw attention to your company and services.
With a promotional torch, you can take creativity even further then the shape and color; you can change the color of the light as well. Since a promotional torch uses an LCD light bulb, it is possible to order the bulbs in various colors. Let’s take the car for example, you can choice to change the color of the light bulb to red, and make the taillights light instead of the headlights. This is something that may be able to be done with a more serious torch, however it would take away from it’s functionality, thus turning it into a promotional torch anyway.
An interesting possibility could even be using a tricolor light that packs a red green and blue LEDs in the same package. These will likely be an order of magnitude more expensive than a traditional white light, however some situations require you to create a bigger impression. If you are passing out your promotional torches at a normal trade show then you’ll probably want to go with a white LED light, however if your company is attending the biggest event of they year then you may wish to invest the extra money and really make a promotional torch that will leave a lasting impression. It can be said with almost absolute certainty that a tricolor promotional torch will not be headed straight for the dustbin at the end of the convention.

No company, small or big, can do without an attractive and different logo design that would effectively portray the company’s essence. The logo must be visually attractive to the customer and must trigger fast brand recall, and thus it is always advisable to get it designed by an expert logo designer.
As the brand identity of a firm would depend upon logo design, the credentials and expertise of the logo designer should be examined thoroughly. He must have previous experience of designing complicated logos and must have lots of creativity. He should also be able to incorporate your ideas into the logo and finish the task within fixed deadlines.
A good logo must have some essential features. It should use elements like colours, photos, and fonts in a coherent manner, creating an eye catching yet soothing effect. The logo must be distinctive in appearance so that it brings to notice the company and separates it from other competing brands.
The logo design must not be abstract and appropriate to the nature of the business, so that the customers can readily recognize what it represents. In addition, it must be apt enough to endure for many years and even decades so that you don’t have to to substitute it with a different one.
Predicting the success of a logo is not generally that easy. In fact it can take several weeks for a new logo to develop an impression and settle in the minds and hearts of customers, and finally result in more revenues or market share for the business.
But this does not mean that you can never know if the new logo will find favour with customers. You can find out the consumers’ likely reaction to the new logo design by doing market research. The test market concept’s application can help you do this in an efficient way.
In this concept, you can start using the new logo with a small section of the larger market, and then study and evaluate how people in that population are connecting with it. You would not have to wait for long for customers to begin identifying with your new logo if you publicize and promote it extensively in the test market.
Then you can study and examine what perceptible impact your experiment has had on the revenues of your products in the test market and on the overall opinion about your firm in that specific area. If you come up with favourable results, you can be reasonably certain that your logo will perform well in the larger market as well.

Trade shows are a constant occurrence in the world of business. Here, organizations, companies, individuals, business owners come to show forth their products and services to thousands of prospects who attend the trade shows. These people are often potential buyers and prospects who might require the services or products of the trade show exhibits. Attendees who do not have products and services to showcase, can easily look around for the latest technologies that may be relevant to their businesses.
Because of its importance, literally tens if not millions of dollars are spent on these events by each company or organizing body. In fact the trade shows themselves are reputed to be a multibillion dollar budding industry that has not been fully exploited. Trade show designs and booths are critical to the success of any tradeshow. Depending on the needs of the requirements of the exhibitors, the trade show booths can be anything from a portable both that can be assembled in as little as 20 minutes to more complex one store booths.
Designing the trade-show displays can either make or mar the exhibition. There’s the possibility of generating quality leads and new clients when certain factors are put into consideration before the exhibition. Some factors to consider include:
1. A little Bit of Splash Like it or not, a more stylized booth can reasonable boost visitor responsiveness. Even when professional are conservative as in financial consultants and experts, a little difference and deviation from the norm can make all the difference. A flashier booth will ultimately attract more prospects. People are used to noticing something out of the ordinary. So make some effort in ensuring that the designs are different in a positive way.
2. Number of Products Available for Display: While it is important to get as many products as possible on display, you might also want to reduce the amount of paraphernalia. Focus only on the message, reduce the clutter and more prospects will be attracted to your booth. A small booth with a clear message stating the benefits of certain products and services is a winner all the time compared to the very flashy ones with confusing messages.
3. Attraction A booth without any incentives isn’t likely to attract many prospects. Think of it this way: it’s a busy market and only those with the best products and incentives will get the higher number of customers. You could play some music, dispense popcorn and canned drinks et.c. If you want to add a little more difference, you can employ an on-the-spot caterer who makes snacks. The aroma is sure to drive more prospects to your booth.
4. Your Brand: The most important thing to consider is the brand of the company. All exhibitions should be driven at getting the brand noticed by more prospects. While the brand image may be static, other things such as the lighting, exhibitors’ clothes should create a dynamic flow conveying a message of fluidity and dynamism. Emphasis should also be placed on the graphics design and booth construction.

Promotional mugs offer a vast exposure to a brand name and hence help in increasing the customer count and popularity. They have become the most efficient tools for popularising different products. As opposed to other promotional tools, these mugs offer a comparatively wider range to choose from. Their cost may vary from meager production money to huge amounts for the designing.
Smaller organisations prefer the typical, simple promotional mugs with messages on them, whereas larger firms, (for instance multinational companies) which have a hierarchy of employees, choose different kinds of promotional mugs for different purposes. In such companies, these promotional mugs may range from artistically stained ones made of glass or white porcelain, for people in high positions, to the usual coffee mugs with a logo on them. Most coffee bar brands have adopted the promotional mug strategy as well. They have come up with their company logo imprint mugs for sale. According to their promotional management team, this keeps the consumer in touch with the coffee bar’s brand, making them visit the place more often.
Many of the e-commerce companies have had to arrange a deal, in the designing and production of promotional mugs, in order to keep up with the increasing demands. They have a large variety of mug types, which provide a fast turnaround on delivery. If you are a person with creative abilities this could be a very profitable job market for you to enter.
A professional artist would be well suited for this area of work. Companies that offer promotional products are always looking for above average employees and pay a nice salary in return for the creative abilities that are demonstrated.
Artists have started to specialize in this field of designing, with some institutes offering very short term courses for imparting the knowledge. Some people with a creative streak in them, who do not wish to leave their present job, take it as a parallel career with their regular work. This helps in earning them an extra part- time income, which is sometimes almost equivalent to what they earn regularly.

Business gifts are one of the most important aspect to building a positive relationship between your company and the audience that you service. But what exactly are business gifts? Why are they so important? Keep reading and I will let you in on the secret success of business gifts.
Whether it’s a colleague, a client or a potential client- business gifts are important. Sometimes they can make the difference between a continued working relationship, new client or customer, or even whether someone chooses to use your services and products or not.
Business gifts don’t have to be elaborate, overly expensive nor are they meant to be given with the expectation of a continued working relationship or that someone will utilize your services or products. Simply, business gifts are to leave a good impression with your colleagues, clients or potential clients- and maybe have future business or working relationships with them.
When you are purchasing your business gifts, you will want to make sure that it is nothing too personal, and instead stays on a professional level. Personalized gifts are fine, as long as they do not cross over the line from business to personal. Think of your business gift, as a gift that you may be purchasing for a distant relative you have not seen in years. Your gift should be able to exhibit the respect you have for their business, without being overly dramatic. Keep them simple, low costing, and message should be limited to well wishes. If your gift is for a potential client, simply state on your gift, “keep us in mind”
You want to make sure that your business gift does not try to hard to “sell” you company to others. This will give your colleges and potential customers a feeling of negativity towards your company. When searching for the perfect business gift, anything that is desk or office related would be both ideal and simple. Another simple and appropriate business gift idea is a nice floral arrangement.
